Codex right now feels dumb and lazy

Compared to how blown away I was when 5.5 first dropped, 6 / 6.1 is honestly a big step down.

The only time I get that old "it just works" feeling back is in Astra Ultra fast mode. Outside of that, it just sits there "thinking" — and I genuinely have no idea what it's thinking about. It's painfully slow.

But the speed isn't even the worst part. The quality took a hit too. It's sloppy now. It doesn't really get what I'm asking, and the moment I nudge it to fix something, it swerves off in a totally different direction.

Verdict

Not worth it right now. 5.5 set the bar high, and 6 / 6.1 doesn't clear it.
